Is it the Boots? Is it the Bling? Or is it Southwest Everything? I don't really know how or when it happened, I just know it did. It may have had to do something with watching old western movies and finally realizing that they had some things to offer. It may have had something to do with the many trips wandering through "the Old West," in such places as Taos, Santa Fe or Tucson. Where and whatever it became was a spirit of time and place; I always seem to fall for things from a different time and culture it would seem. One thing that is for sure is that everyone has a different interpretation about "the Old West," Cowboys, Indians, Spaniards and the whole kitten-kabutle.
Beyond showing off my boots & bling, I hope to answer anybody's questions about where to find such things and possible places to visit. With all of that "spare time," we'll be able to check out a few places and talk turkey with a few folks.
